20.01.2022 The Victorian Rock ‘n’ Roll Dance Association proudly presents The Victorian Iso-Titles! What you need to do?... We want you to record yourself dancing for 30seconds and post it to the VRRDA Facebook page. We want you to have fun with this, get dressed up in your best dance gear and strut your stuff on the floor, in your driveway, in your local park even on your dining room table. We don’t care we just want to see you having some fun! We will then pick out a random couple and that couple will receive 2 spectator passes to the Victorian State Championships when we’re allowed to run it again. There will be a couple of rules like any good competition. 1. Video must be minimum of 30seconds and a maximum of 60Seconds 2. We want you to get dressed up for this, however if you really don’t want to that’s ok. However you must adhere to public decency 3. It must be posted to either the VRRDA Facebook page or posted in the comments of this post 4. Videos must be submitted by 5pm on Sunday 17th of May 5. Videos must consist of two dancers, you don’t have to be dancing together but two people must be present. This is a fun competition so lifts/drops/props whilst they look awesome will not get you any closer to winning. We also suggest you take advantage of one of the amazing local musicians doing regular Facebook lives and have a dance to them feel free to tag them in your videos too I’m sure it will make their day as well! This competition is open NOW!! Good luck

In accordance with Government and Health Advice, we will be resuming dance classes Though due to extremely strict regulations and guidelines around expectation participants must adhere to, as things will look and feel a lot different. Dance Class information:... o Venue: St. Patricks church hall Albury, Every Tuesday 6:30 to 7:30. Please read the following conditions below carefully BEFORE booking ( call Johnny 0457246824). Cost will be $10 per person and all sessions run for 60 minutes Cashless bookings: All booking is by bank transactions ( details from Johnny) all booking must be two week at a time. Or more. (Note: if Covid conditions change, refunds will be available) Only 20 People can attend dance class at one time (including 2 instructors) All patrons are to stay in the cars until 3 minutes before session times Entry to build is via front door. Compulsory contact free temperature checks on entry, before entering hall. Compulsory hand sanitiser, then hand washing to occur before entering hall (bathroom via side hallway) No hugs or handshakes when greeting people Social Distancing markers will be placed on the floor and all patrons are always to remain 1.5 metres away from other couples (apart from dance partners). Rock n Roll session will be Non-Progressive All participants must sign the Visitors Log and show booking information NO spectators you have to have a partner (Sorry) BYO Drink bottle. 09.01.2022 Looking for a new activity for your child? Ballroom dancing is an encouraging way to boost their confidence, self-esteem, co-ordination, social skills as well a...s their fitness! First class is free for new students as a tryout. Our term starts next week (27th - 29th Jan) and you can start anywhere in the term. Our enrolment day is to ensure your child gets a place in one of our 5 classes, as we need to cap the numbers at 20 for safety reasons.
