24.01.2022 SAM LYLE CLINIC Calling for expressions of interest! There may be possible places available to participate in the the upcoming State Squad clinic with Sam Lyle. Sam is both a 5* rider, and a former national coach having worked with Australian championship team riders and horses both in Australia and overseas. Sam will be training our SA state squad riders for a two day clinic - Wednesday the 4th showjumping at Cromwell Park and Thursday 5th crosscountry at Hallmark farm - and... the opportunity may arise for additional 95/1* riders to join them. 04.01.2022 South Australian eventing history...and not much long to wait until history comes to life at Wirrina Cove Horse Trials!

02.01.2022 Wonderful words from Mount Gambier Horse Trials and those attending the Regional Clinic with Wendy Schaeffer-Macdonald .......... Today Mount Gambier turned on great weather on what is traditionally day one of our Horse Trials...hard to believe for those regular competitors at Mount Gambier who have had to deal with blizzard like conditions!! Even without our event the thunder of hooves was still heard echoing across the grounds (I may have embellished this ) as the first ...day of the ESA Regional Rider Development Clinic took place. Under the skilful instruction of Wendy Schaeffer, 37 riders took the opportunity to hone their skills in preparation for tomorrow when they will hit the cross country course. Opportunities like this are fantastic for our local riders and to see facebook flooded with comments like the one below really does warm the heart. Thank you to Equestrian South Australia, the coordinators and Wendy for your commitment to country riders.
