You are warmly welcome to come along to this exciting opportunity to discuss development of a renewable 'mini grid' in Yack. Meetings will have presentations by Totally Renewable Yackandandah and Ausnet / Mondo Energy ... as well as meeting with them directly. Be great if you can come along and support the terrific young people who are putting themselves out there to perform.. some for the first time to a crowd. A young bloke called Finbar who grew up in Yackandandah will be among the acts. Age is not a limiter for you to attend.. ya just need to be up for some shoutin', hootin', and hollerin'!! 10.01.2022 Events That Matter are proud to be coordinating this exciting Community Renewable Energy Forum, which is the highlighted part of the 2017 Yackandandah Festival of Dangerous Ideas coming up on Friday Dec 1. Registrations are required for the forum at trybooking.com/book/event?eid=322586. We will also be holding a range of discussion groups / activities around other ‘dangerous’, innovative, challenging topics; and there will be a Yack Community Street Party to celebrate the year, and lead-up to the festive season! 03.01.2022 A 'head and heart' event that matters coming up on July 8 in Beechworth. Come along with your friends and listen to the beautiful cello of Anthony Albrecht. And you'll also be having scones, jam and cream, with afternoon tea! This fundraiser for Totally Renewable Yackandandah will include a short presentation updating our regional community of renewable energy developments and opportunities.

03.01.2022 The first event we're organising this year is tonight's concert at the Yackandandah Public Hall, an omnibus performance starring GG Music and some of the region's best musical talent. Tickets still available at the door, drinks will be available and there's delicious catering by local legends Saint Monday. Forget the tennis - mosey on down!
