17.01.2022 Look how big our Tawny Frogmouth baby now is. And he/she is out of the nest & sitting on the branch with Mum & Dad (the other parent is off to the very right behind leaves and difficult to see). Did you know Tawny Frogmouths form partnerships for life and usually stay in a territory for a decade or more. This family returns to Kindy every year and we love them!

16.01.2022 After over 28 years as teacher/co-director at C&K Everton Park, Mrs Anne Orchard is retiring. We are so very sorry to see her go & we will all miss her greatly but we want to wish her the very best in her retirement & hope that this new stage of her life is full of enjoyment. Due to COVID19 and considering Anne's wishes we will be doing a very small farewell during Kindy on Tuesday 24th November with current children & families. ... If any past families would like to send best wishes please feel free to email them to [email protected] or drop off to Kindy before next Tuesday 24th November & we will ensure Anne receives them.

15.01.2022 Yesterday Group 1 enjoyed watching Evergreen Children’s Theatres Reef Experience puppet show. We learned about Giant Clams, Coral Rock Cod, Lion Fish, Trumpet Fish, Seahorses and many more sea creatures. Group 2 will enjoy their show on Thursday.

We are also printing out photos sent to us showing what our kindy children are doing at home. We are placing them in a folder for the staff & children attending to share. Our Kindy has a long history with Brisbane City Council as we have leased our land from council for nearly 60 years. 10.01.2022 A reminder that PICTURE ON A PLATE product templates are DUE THIS FRIDAY 11th September. Please pay for the number of products you wish to purchase via direct debit or with cash and hand in your childrens artwork templates to the Kindy by the end of this week. It has been fun seeing all the amazing artwork coming in and we cant wait to see them all made up in to your plates, mugs and calendars!

07.01.2022 Thanks so much for our parent volunteers today. Emma & Michelle for replanting our vege patch. Thanks to Sharolyn for weeding the side of the Kindy (this storage side doesnt get the regular gardening that our playground gets). Also special thanks to Bunnings Stafford for the donation of 8 bags of vege garden mix and packs of seeds to grow!

05.01.2022 We are loving receiving photos and updates on how our children who are learning from home are going. Our teachers are sharing these with the staff and children who are at Kindergarten. 04.01.2022 We still had a box of 120 freddo & friends from our chocolate drive so we decided to donate them to our wonderful health workers at The Prince Charles Hospital. The children decorated a lovely poster & Mrs Blair-West delivered the poster and chocolates yesterday afternoon. Hopefully a little boost of sugar will keep them going during long shifts & the poster will put a smile on their faces.
