12.01.2022 $$ Today is EQUAL PAY DAY $$ Today marks the 59th additional day since the end of the last financial year that women have to work, on average, to earn the same ...amount men earned that year. The national gender pay gap remains stagnant at 14 per cent. The full time average weekly earnings difference between women and men is $253.60 a week (yes, a week). We all know COVID has had a disproportionate effect on women, and I spoke about that in Parliament this week. Now we need the Morrison Government to hand down a plan that makes sure Australian women arent further left behind in this crisis. . . . #employment #work #pay #equalpay #equalpayday #women #men #wages #auspol #COVID19 #macquarie #bluemountains #hawkesbury

Did you know that almost 75% of young womxn and non-binary people surveyed in YWAGs 2015 Lets Talk Survey did not feel confident in their understanding of pleasure following their schools sexual education and over 60% were not taught about consent?"
