Nathan has a Cert III in Engineering Production Systems that includes competencies in most of our core activities so this placement allowed him to see the impact of his skills on real life work.

02.01.2022 There's no women in engineering? We certainly don't believe that at Excel Robotics - in fact, we make a point of proving the opposite true! Meet Bethany - one of our fantastic interns. Pictured here between Kelly (left) our Senior Contracts Manager and Zulmer (right) our resident Engineer and MDR Coordinator. Bethany is with us for an 18 month work placement. She'll be learning robotic and CNC programming, fabrication, welding and document control/material tractability. She ...tells me she wants to be an aircraft technician in the Navy. How cool is that!? And how inspiring to hear how much potential she sees for herself in a STEM career! We're fortunate to work with high schools from across Perth every year (including Rossmoyne, Thornlie and Rockingham senior high schools as well as South Fremantle and Atwell) to help kids gain new experience in the steel fabrication industry. 01.01.2022 We recently hosted Elliott, a work experience student from #ThornlieSHS, who stayed with us for 2 weeks to learn about #fabrication and #robotic #engineering. Hands on experience is the only way to get a feel for a trade and fully understand the diversity and scope of a possible future career.
