06.01.2022 Here is the second in the series of Q&As with Rebecca and this time we talk business. 1 What makes your business stand out? We are unique because we are a one-stop shop with a number of complementary businesses under the same roof at the Gulvin Group offices in Leederville. We not only lease and sell homes, but we also manage Airbnbs, relocate expats & elite sports stars and provide home concierge services. ... We're also the only company in Australia that relocates sports stars @sportsstarrelocations. Our new venture, Fauxniture will also complement our property offerings and were really excited about it so stay tuned 2 What is your area of expertise? Ive done a lot of courses, questionnaires and surveys, and they made me realise that I actually have lots of ideas.I love projects, I have persistence and I am a project manager in the sense that if I have an idea, I implement it and see it through. Im not big on the administration and nitty gritty though! If I had a money tree and 10 PAs then I would have a few more start-up businesses as well 3 What are the biggest challenges for you as an entrepreneur? Having so many ideas and not being able to implement them. The ideas arent always great, but I would love to see more being worked on. Its also really hard to see someone else create something similar to an idea that Id already had. 4 What mantra do you live by? I try to avoid negativity so when I say, lets do this and someone says, It cant be done, I say, They put man on the moon we can do this! and then I do it. Stay tuned for the next Q&A where I ask Bec to give budding entrepreneurs some tips about starting up a new business.
