If you’re a newbie or want to improve your technique follow these tips inspired via @crossropeaustralia -Use a weighted rope. Plastic ropes are too light and you will find it hard to feel them rotating around your body causing trip-ups!... -Get the right size for your body depending on your jumping style or one with an adjustable length. You need to be able to jump over it without tripping while your hands are by your waist. -Make sure your hands are the same distance apart from your body and the same height. -Minimal movement of the elbows and shoulders. It is all in your wrists! This will help you stay stable. -When jumping (bouncing) keep your toes pointed down. Don’t try to tuck them under you or pull them back. You can do a single jump until you get used to a double hop. 14.01.2022 Protein supplementation post-workout is a must for good recovery and becoming stronger. It took me 1 year after I started training before convincing myself to take protein. I wasn’t into the idea of taking a straight-up protein shake. I found it boring day after day. Until I started experimenting. I mix things up everyday so that my taste buds are stimulated and that I am looking forward to it. Because we all know that if we don’t enjoy something, it’s going to be extra hard to be committed to it. And the thing is that when I actually committed to it, I saw some massive changes in my body and its capabilities. I now also try to add some protein to whatever I bake, which during Iso is a lot.
