25.01.2022 We've talked about their hail resistance, but what about fire? SOLARWATT glass-glass panels received the best possible certification in fire class A according to the IEC 61730-2 standard (UL 790). The certificate applies to the entire Vision 60 product range from SOLARWATT. The panels undergo a two step testing procedure - a spread-of-flame test for class A, the surface of the selected PV element is exposed to a gas flame with a combustion power of 378 kW for 10 minutes und...er the influence of wind. The test laboratory uses this to assess the spread of flame on the top of the panel and between the roofing and the solar panels mounted on top. Then a burning fire test - a block of wood placed on the module is ignited and it is observed whether an external fire under the influence of wind causes the modules to burn or even burn through. We said her owner was happy with our work, but don't take our word for it, here's her review: Quoting was good, Ben came and did it, checked out the board checked the roof, easy manner to talk to.... Jack and Co did the install he was amazing even continued to work during rain. Cleaned up after so you wouldn't even know they were here. Cleaned the roof to make sure there were no shavings left and was a lovely fellow. Office is extremely efficient as well. Couldn't fault my experience they did delay by a week which sometimes just cant be helped and I didn't have a problem with that. Install was 15 kW REC/SMA system. There were no hidden extras no extra expenses it was to quote. Very happy I went with Expert Electrical. Thank You!
