21.01.2022 So here is first trip tour after a long wait with COVID holding tourism back. Also like to mention it’s my first ever tag along which is awesome . Had a ball of a morning. Went down Ivanhoe to Catch some live bait before heading on down to Lower Ord to chase the barras. ... Dave caught the first Barra for the morning at 38cm we’ll done Dave and Sarah nailed her first ever barra which came in at 57.5cm not a bad size for her first Barra Congratulation Sarah and Wayne lost a horse of a Barra, dammm maybe next time Wayne . 08.01.2022 What a ripper of an afternoon/evening with Dean, Mel, Casey and Charlie. The weather was beautiful, sun was setting and the barras were on the bite. Copped the out skirt of rain. 04.01.2022 Off to the Keep River again this morning, left home at 8am got to the keep at 9, chased some live bait and caught 3 and lots of baby barras. Decided to fish the fresh water again where I did well the last weekend I went out and I caught the $1.20. This time I went up stream about 20mins up I threw the first line which got caught in the tree and lost the bait. Second cast caught a small catfish. The last bait I used I could not believe it.
