24.01.2022 Hello, I am getting a lot of messages about appointments. In my personal opinion, I am sure beauty will be forced to close as of Thursday, but let’s wait for the specific business announcements coming out tomorrow. Those that have appointments tomorrow (Monday), Tuesday and Wednesday will go ahead (new rules for Ballarat are enforced on Thursday). All clients MUST arrive wearing a mask. Your safetyis my priority and I appreciate you all so much. ... Please stay safe, if you are unwell, get tested and stay home. Make sure to wear your masks and wash your hands. Check in on your loved ones and if anyone ever needs a chat, or a vent send me a message

15.01.2022 NEW LOCATION! Hi everyone, I have moved my lash business to another office. Please have a read of the below as there are some changes. Firstly, the new space is double story and the lash space is upstairs. We are in a gated office area, it’s shared with other businesses and parking is FREE (yahoo!) however, as we share with other businesses we have specific areas to park. While we are still navigating this I will message you prior to your appointment. ... Secondly, the new office is not suitable for children. In the past if a client asks if it’s okay to bring kids to an appointment, I politely advise not to. Recently I’ve had a lot of clients arrive with children, although I would love to be able to accommodate kids in the room, I can no longer do it. There are a few reasons for this. 1. Applying eyelash extensions require my full attention. iPad noises, movement in the room, the table being knocked, bathroom trips all provide distractions and make it very difficult for me to stay on time for my next clients. I LOVE doing lashes, I find it relaxing and therapeutic, and I love that my clients are relaxed during their treatment. Unfortunately having others in the room takes away from the relaxing vibe. I understand situations can change at last minute, but please let me know. 2. The new office also houses my balloon decorating business, has stairs and this is not a suitable environment for kids in an unsupervised environment. The new address is 3/6 Traminer court wendouree. You will see signs on the gates for ‘Ballarat Undercover Storage’ and ‘Sovereign Press’, drive through the gates (there is a double gate and single gate, drive through either). Go straight and you will see the big shed for Ballarat Undercover storage. My office door is in the corner to the left. Please allow additional time to arrive Incase you have issues. I really do appreciate your ongoing support and can’t wait to get back home, unfortunately our flight home from Bali has just been delayed till 2am... see you all soon Celia xx

10.01.2022 Hi Everyone, I hope you’re all doing well and I hope your loved ones are safe and healthy. From today’s announcements, Eyelash Design by Celia will be closed for a little longer than expected, but’s thats okay. When I reopen, I can’t wait to see all of you again and catch up on the last few interesting months.... Stay positive, and focus on the smallest good things. Like, having a roof over our heads, access to hot water and heating. We will get through this, but if you ever want someone to vent to, send me a message See you all soon, Celia Xx

06.01.2022 What a crazy ride 2020 has been. You will all be aware of the changes and closures but I just wanted to say thank you so much to all of my loyal clients who have supported me since reopening. I will be closing for the next six weeks and will be letting all clients know that appointments scheduled during this time will be cancelled. 01.01.2022 ** BUSINESS CLOSED till further notice** To my wonderful clients, We need to start taking this virus seriously. Due to this, and the government advising for all non essential travel to be cancelled, I am no longer going to be doing eyelash extensions. This was not an easy decision to make but I will not put you or myself at risk. Stay home. Watch Netflix. Do not leave your home unless you need to.... Although I have a number of processes in place to keep my lash space up to standards, I don’t know if you are a carrier of the disease or if I am. I feel fine, 100% feel great. But I am not taking the risk. It wouldn’t only take one recent client to be a confirmed case and I would feel GOD AWFUL. I know how much you all love lashes, and I truely love being a lash tech, but we are going to have to put eyelash extensions on hold for a while. If this seems drastic, then I strongly encourage you to do some research. I don’t know how any business right now can guarantee you safety against the virus. I am taking all the precautions to keep myself and my family safe. Does this effect my income? Of course it does, but I predict we will all be in lockdown in the coming days. I know businesses are going to struggle, no one could have predicted this, and your local businesses are going to need your support when we return to normal. If you are struggling financially, there will be options. The government has just announced additional options, for example - being able to access $10,000 from your super. I know this is daunting, but health comes before money and I want you to know that I am doing this for you. Sincerely Celia.
