15.01.2022 If you thought Eyeopener Toastmasters were enjoying leisurely Friday mornings over the last few months, you would be WRONG. Our members have been busy mastering the art of on-line meetings. Now it is time to get back to meetings in person. We are back in our usual venue, at the St Paul's Meeting Room, and WELCOMING GUESTS. Our next meeting in this coming Friday, 24 July, 6.45 am sharp. Please message us if you are interested in attending.

12.01.2022 Our organization continues to find ways to empower women and help them find their voices, says Lark Doley, Toastmasters’ 2018-19 Immediate Past International ...President. Our female members support one another, and mentoring among women has played a crucial role in members developing the essential skills for successful professional and personal lives. In honor of International Women's Day on March 8, Toastmasters International salutes five inspirational females. http://bit.ly/TI_WomensDay2020 #toastmasters #internationalwomensday #IWD2020

04.01.2022 Have you suffered from stage fright? You wouldn't be the only one. Many of us experience a terror of speaking in public. Neuroscientist Anwesha Banerjee was one. Toastmasters helped her manage her stage fright by making it a habit! Well worth a read and there's a link to her TED talk as well.
03.01.2022 Long-time club member Moyea has been busy ticking off some Toastmasters goals. She recently completed her Competent Leader and Advanced Leader Bronze Awards.
01.01.2022 It's that time of the year when we think about setting our goals. What will 2021 bring? How can we set goals in uncertain times? Here's some tips. I especially liked the idea of not getting hooked up on what was not achieved last year and instead listing what was. At Eyeopener we had some notable achievements. We have adapted to on-line meetings. In fact, we love them so much we are keeping them going on the 4th Friday of each month in 2021.... #eyeopenermackay #eyeopenertoastmasters #toastmastersinternational https://www.toastmasters.org/leadership-ce/featured-article
