They represent the four Victoria Police officers who sadly lost their lives in the line of duty in Kew on 22 April, 2020. Four touchstones will also be placed at the National Police Memorial wall in Canberra in their honour. 20.01.2022 This driver forgot his wand when he was intercepted by the Fawkner Highway Patrol yesterday afternoon on City Link in Brunswick West. 130km in a 80km zone, the driver also tested positive to methamphetamine. 18.01.2022 SEEKING DASH CAM FOOTAGE TO ASSIST WITH INVESTIGATION Fawkner Highway Patrol attended a rollover incident yesterday (30 November 2020). At approximately 10:30 AM the truck pictured below was travelling south on Sydney Road, turning right into Camp Road, Campbellfield. An unknown 'budget style van' was travelling north on Sydney Road, using the slip lane to turn left into Camp Road. The van failed to give way to the truck, which caused the truck to rollover while turning mo...re sharply than planned. A ute following the van has then collided with the truck as it skidded on the road. Highway Patrol are seeking any dash cam footage of the incident to help identify the van involved. 13.01.2022 Police will allege the vehicle was one of two stolen during an armed robbery in Coburg overnight. The victim was threatened and slashed across the hand with a pair of scissors. The 33-year-old woman was transported to hospital with a serious hand injury.

Emergency services were called to the Western Ring Road near the Pascoe Vale Road overpass about 1.45pm on 19 November after two heavy vehicles collided. 04.01.2022 Coffee first thing in the morning: Necessary Leaving your keys in the ignition and having your car stolen while running in to get coffee: Avoidable IT ONLY TAKES A FEW SECONDS TO STEAL A CAR!! ... Detectives have been investigating a recent spate of cars being stolen due to keys being left in the ignition. Drivers are making quick stops, i.e early morning coffee stops, and leaving their cars running. A passenger or driver of a nearby vehicle then jumps into the victims car, and they both drive off. Please take this as a reminder to never leave your car unattended with the key in the ignition, no matter how quick the stop. Opportunistic thefts can be avoided.

02.01.2022 Police were patrolling near the Sydney Road exit about 8am when they observed a car travelling at 173km/h in a 70km/h zone. Members intercepted the driver, an 18-year-old man from Craigieburn, whod had his licence for less than three months. His car was impounded at a cost of $873 and he has been charged with traffic-related offences.

Victims are receiving phone calls from an unknown female caller claiming to be from the ATO. The caller explains to the victim they have an ATO debt, and will transfer them to Flemington Police Station. Another unknown female then speaks to the victim, requesting their personal details including their tax file number. Upon checking phone records, the caller number is displayed ...as coming from the Flemington Police Station. These calls are NOT being made by police or ATO.
