25.01.2022 Petey and I are walking 7km on Sunday (in 36C heat!) to raise funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis. Having seen people we know with CF go on to have children and turn 21 (Daniel Ball, just yesterday!) is just amazing, and beating even more odds is possible with more research! 24.01.2022 On Saturday 5th December 2015, I will take part in the Dwellingup 100 Mountain Bike Race and will RIDE FOR SOMEONE WHO CANT. This is my seventh time competing in this event and my second time fundraising for MDWA. My goal is simple; to raise as much money and awareness for Muscular Dystrophy WA as possible, while doing a sport I enjoy... I will ride 100 grueling kilometres, as I ride my hardest for those with muscular dystrophy.... I urge you to take a moment out of your day to reflect on what so many of us take for granted... physical dependance, choice, the ability to make our own seemingly mundane decisions every minute of every day. For those living with muscular dystrophy this choice is often lost and with it comes a reliance on other people, or equipment to undertake those daily tasks that most of us do on autopilot. Please give generously. Your assistance will help Muscular Dystrophy WA provide help for today and tomorrow.
