17.01.2022 The Great Flinders Netball Association and Great Flinders Football League are sad to announce that the 2020 season will not be going ahead. We have been in constant discussions with clubs and their delegates since the start of the Covid 19 crisis. This decision by all clubs was not taken lightly and members were informed of everything that would need to happen for a season to go ahead, including the potential of no spectators, the financial impact it would have on clubs, and ...the workload of volunteers increasing. We are also very aware of the safety of all of our members and spectators in these unprecedented times. Remember you are allowed to be sad about this and angry about this, but the safety of our players and officials is our number one priority. We will look at what options we will have later in the year for some form of carnival for juniors and/or seniors depending on the Covid situation- the safety of our communities will be our number one priority. Look after each other at this difficult time and we hope you can enjoy some more time with family and friends. Perhaps the money you would have spent on subs this year can be re-invested at a local business that has struggled over the last couple of months. If you have any questions do not hesitate to get in touch. See more

14.01.2022 Here's a exciting opportunity for fans and supporters of every make and model. Vintage Saints jumpers from yesteryear have been donated back to the club and we are auctioning these woolly wonders online now to give everyone a chance to grab a piece of history. These beauties would look great framed on the wall in the man cave, boardroom or office and maybe even the bedroom for the real fan! Wear it on the couch or to a game next year and relive the memories of some of the legendary players who wore red, black and white. Check out the numbers available in the pictures below and send a PM with your bid. Entries close at the end of September so tag a legend who wore a number (Lachlan Gale #51!) and share and like the page.

03.01.2022 Eyre United Football Club would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the recent passing of former player Lindsay Henry. Lindsay played in the powerful mid -80's Saints team that was stacked with some of Eyre United's greatest ever players. In 1985 Lindsay was awarded the Club best and fairest and led the Saints to back to back unsuccessful grand final appearances in 85-86. He became only the third Eyre United player to win the prestigious Mail Medal, as the league's best player. He will be remembered as one of the most skillful and exciting players to pull on the Saints jumper and our sincere condolences go out to his family at this time.
