25.01.2022 It’s time for another COVID update! At Eyre Eye Centre, we have continued to make adjustments to the way we practice to assist with limiting the spread of COVID-19. Our appointment schedule has been permanently altered to allow appropriate time for thorough cleaning between each patient and to minimise foot traffic. ... We are following strict hygiene protocols and practice procedures, which includes but is not limited to: Regular cleaning of ALL surfaces, rooms, and equipment throughout the day and between each patient All frames that are tried on are cleaned before placing them back on display We ask that you please use the hand sanitiser that is freely available for you at the front desk Postage of contact lenses and spectacles is offered to reduce the need for return visits to our practice We encourage contactless cash-free payments to minimise cash handling Removal of magazines, brochures, pens, and toys in patient waiting areas and consultation rooms Waiting room chairs have been placed 1.5 metres apart where possible If you are unwell, please call ahead and reschedule your appointment Importantly, the health and safety of our staff, patients and community remains our top priority. And remember, there is no room for complacency - let’s keep SA safe by doing the right thing.
