25.01.2022 Had hoped to be up and running by now. Still trying to lockdown a freight company that make this low cost product cost effective to produce and sell from Darwin, NT. At the moment I just feel like an advert for QLD (not a good one at that), waitling for freight quotes. Any ideas? If I lived on the Eastern seaboard the choice is huge, from Darwin. ---- still looking!
20.01.2022 So when you have attached the canvas it looks amazing as can be seen with the two small frames with canvas attached.
13.01.2022 It has been a while since I had some news on the EZ ArtFrame so thought I had better give an update. I have found producing the product in Darwin and trying to distribute it from here almost impossible. I have spent the better part of the past four years perfecting the product and a recent addition is using cloth tape along the leading edge of the wood frame to reduce the 0.3mm relief from the plastic shroud to the wood. It wasnt a criticism but it is now rectified so that the finished product cannot be distinguished from a professional stretching job if paying attention to detail. I will attach a photo shortly.
13.01.2022 Finally getting close to launching the EZ Art Frame. Started well then spent a month waiting for packaging. Almost back on track and thought I had better post something tangible and almost ready for sale. Thanks for your patience.
06.01.2022 So, with such an incredible product. A product with world wide application and protected under patent, what do you do if you live in Darwin? You offer the entire concept, company and all products to some young energetic entrepreneur who lives where there are sufficient resources to take it to the world. Thats right, I am looking for someone who can see the potential in this and run with it - exclusivity is the protection, and I will offer everything as I am unable to move from Darwin and would rather see someone do well with it, than me shelve it forever, due to living where manufacturing is a dirty work and freight is just diabolical. If you know of the right person, please give them the tip and send me an email on [email protected] I would love to see it exported as it should be. Cheers Gavin
04.01.2022 Here is the frame with the cloth tape attached to reduce the relief between the plastic corner and the wood sides.
04.01.2022 There are two Aboriginal artworks here. One is professionally framed after being dropped off for a week and costing a few hundred dollars to do, the other is the one I have just done in the past 15 minutes (went slow as had a cup of coffee) - can you pick the difference? Let me know which you think I have done!
