06.01.2022 Just food for thought... with the huge amount of Indian horse gear that seems to be flooding the market of late I thought I would do a small comparison!! I very... kindly received a rope halter sample from a reputable Indian exporter, on the 17th of April I hung a nicely made red halter on my fence along side a sample of our Australian made halter rope. The difference and deterioration in just a few short weeks speaks for its self!! Now picture your 600kg horse pulling back in the halter you saved a couple of bucks on and it breaking not an ideal situation at best. My point even though a Product looks the same sometimes it clearly isnt in my mind quality and durability is a big plus not just saving a few dollars here and there. So I ask you whatever you are buying a halter, bridle, saddle any thing you are putting on your horse for control, comfort and safety check where its made ask the question whats the country or origin? Dont be fooled by misleading imports being passed off as Australian made!! Spend a few more dollars and get quality that will last and in the long term keep dollars in your pocket and our industry strong!! As I said in my opening statement just food for thought!!
