Yesterday @mickeygurl17 did her last session with us (for now), and today will be going into surgery to get rid of some excess skin after dropping a whopping 60kg + since joining our studio! We always come back with the feeling that we can do so much more for the ones we love and the ones around us. You can have thousands of tasks and worries in life but looking after yourself should be your priority and your own decision.... Those, with a lack of self love and the ones who dont look after themselves may find it hard to be there for someone else!

If we give you 100 tips to be healthier and you do one or two of them thats a win. You dont need to do everything 100% to do things better. You can improve not only your health but your life by making small changes. There is never a time when a little progress isnt worth it. You woke up and had ice cream for breakfast ? Well that doesnt mean you cant eat more nutrient dense food for lunch and dinner. You missed the gym every day this week ? Doesnt mean you cant go today. The point being, find what you can do... Find what you can change and find what aspects you want to be better in. There is no perfect end result, just what you can make happen for you !

Words from Taiyos Mum PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY ... My name is Cris and Im a mum to a little warrior boy called Taiyo, who also goes by the name of Barry Allen aka The Flash. Last year at the age of 2, Taiyo was diagnosed with T cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. We are currently half way through a 3 year treatment plan at the Royal Childrens Hospital. Hearing the words your son has cancer was both surreal and devastating. The kind of kick in the guts that knocks the breath out of you, and even more than a year on my eyes still fill up with tears remembering that day. The cancer journey is a long one, its exhausting and filled with many ups and downs. Life doesnt stop after diagnosis, the bills continue to come in and the emotional trauma is on going. We relied heavily on the love and generosity of family, friends and strangers. From the very beginning we knew we wanted to give back to research, to the hospital and the many organisations that helped us when our world felt like it was falling apart, so they can help other families like mine because sadly many families all around Australia are being diagnosed as you read this. Redkite has been there for us from the very beginning, one of the reasons we choose to fundraiser for them this year. Redkite continue to be present in our everyday life, whether through the @colessupermarkets food and fuel vouchers or the emotional support I receive from counselling. Redkite made sure we had food on the table and petrol to get to our appointments. This year due to the bushfires, the floods and now Covid19 there has been a 15% increase in demand for Redkite financial support and 32% increase in support sessions. It only takes a minute and any money you can give (no matter how large or small) will go a long way to helping me reach my target to help other families like mine while they navigate through one of the toughest moments of their life. Dont look at the numbers that are involved with someone who has achieved what you want to achieve.
