Hamstrings are a primary muscle being worked along with others such as glutes, hips, erector muscles, calves, lats and core to mention a few. Its also a great balance exercise forcing you to use a lot of stabilising muscles to perform the move correctly. Let us know how you went with it??!

18.01.2022 A MASSIVE SHOUT OUT TO DAN!! Dan has been with us from day 1 which is over 4YRS ago now. He is our only foundation member left and has supported us here the entire time! It has been great to watch Dan progress and turn into the machine he is today! Dan is also a big part of our great environment we have here at F45 Lidcombe by making any new member feel welcome and helping in any way he can! 18.01.2022 Here are some kind words from this couple Jaden and Renee! F45 was always something we saw people do and never thought we would actually do, but we are so glad that we did. The first time we met Rob he was extremely welcoming and showed us all about what happens, then we hit the first session. Every session is so short, but each have been challenging in their own way. One of the great things about F45 is the variety in their training, no two sessions are identical. No only... are they interested, but the results become clear so quickly! Rob and the team have done such an exceptional job and have really built a community of like-minded, motivating individuals, from both the coaches to the team of people you train with. Sadly these two will be leaving us soon to undertake new adventures Brisbane. We will miss you guys very much
16.01.2022 Winner Winner Shaun has taken out first place in our 5WK Challenge. Shaun managed to loss 5.7% body fat which equated to 6.5kgs of body fat. He also put on 2.1kgs of muscle. With regular training sessions and making adjustments to his diet Shaun managed to get these great results. Congratulations Shaun, keep up the great work!!

04.01.2022 We would like to welcome Jay to the F45 Lidcombe Team!! Jay brings a lot of great assets with him including a big thirst to improve everyones health and fitness goals!! Here is a bit about Jay: What are your hobbies or interests? Im a runner with a workout problem! I love running and Im out around the bay at 5:30am every morning with my crew. Im also a foodie. I love to cook, which is handy as I have two very hungry kids to feed each day. ... What do you like about the F45 training? Its that everyone can do it, no matter what your age or condition. Because its so accessible and well thought through, everybody can enjoy it and benefit from it. What is your favourite exercise? Apart from Bear Crawls? Any form of squat, whether pacey prisoner squats or slow and loaded up with a barbell. Whats your favourite F45 workout? Varsity! Hated it the first time I did it. But, like all workouts, theres so much scope to improve and this one I definitely have a long way to go before Ive got the better of it. Whats your favourite healthy food? Poké bowls. As you know Im a bit of a foodie, so I love to play around with creating the perfectly balanced bowl. Whats your favourite cheat meal? A spicy Indian style prawn curry. Especially if Ive had the time to cook it myself. What do you enjoy about coaching? The feeling when somebody whos been struggling with a particular exercise gets it. Its a small but significant experience for the person when they feel theyve turned a corner. Whats something we need to know about you? Im from London and moved to Sydney with my Aussie wife back in 2016. Being from England I love soccer (or as I call it, football) and I support Fulham. Im a qualified massage therapist and Im studying remedial massage. Whats your best dad joke? I asked my personal trainer to teach me how to do the splits. He asked me how flexible I was, so I told him that I could do any day except Tuesdays. Whats something you have never done but would like to do? Have a Ferris Bueller style day off (under 30? Google it). Whats your biggest achievement in life so far? Apart from becoming a dad, Im proud that Ive twice run marathons. Whats more, Ive encouraged over 100 people to take up running. Favourite quote? 80% of success is just showing up.

03.01.2022 Member spotlight! Say hi to Katina! Here’s what she has to say about her time with us at F45 Lidcombe: We've been coming to F45 Lidcombe for just over 2 years now and I love it!! I never thought I would be one of those people who love going to the gym several times a week, but F45 has become a way of life! ... My favourite thing at F45 Lidcombe is that they make working out so easy. The trainers are always helping me to improve my technique and I can be back home on my couch in less than an hour! Thanks to Rob and his team, I am honestly the fittest and strongest I've ever been and I find it really rewarding achieving new things and setting myself new targets. Everyone down at the gym are super encouraging and genuinely happy for others when they achieve their goals. Both Katina and her husband Nate are regular members at our studio. They work hard, they are enthusiastic about their training and they are both just smashing it! Keep it up guys!
