Private bar is open for purchases on the night Now that we are beginning to re-cooperate from New Years, It's time to plan our next big night out and what better occasion than Australia Day long weekend! We've got the exclusive use of the Balcony Bar at the Havelock Hotel for our use from 7:30pm so let's party and mingle with our Social Singles! Open to all ages with the average ages attending our events tending to be mid 30's to mid 60's however everyone is welcome and made to feel comfortable. This is a great night to bring your single friends along as the more the merrier and with Australia Day 2020 landing on a Sunday, hopefully most of us won't need to rise early for work the next day :) We also want to have a little fun celebrating this awesome country we live in. So come along wearing a touch of Aussie, be it some red, blue or white or perhaps green and gold? We will have a DJ spinning all Australian Rock and Pop anthems through the ages plus taking requests to keep the dance floor pumping! Part proceeds of this event will be going to 2 charities (1 for Fire Fighters and 1 for Animals) which will be decided closer to the date to ensure we are supporting who most needs it at the time. We will also have some donation tins floating around with our hosts at this event to collect for extra donations for people to choose to donate extra if they wish. Tuesday December 31st 2019 8pm till late Avoca Hotel, 893 South Rd, Clarence Gardens... $15 per ticket Includes exclusive private area & bar, live music, co-ordination fee & your Social 8 host Beverages will be available for individual purchases BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL We are so excited to be announcing this event as I have wanted to do this for 13 years and finally we have pulled it off. Come and join us at Adelaide’s largest Singles New Years Eve Party. We have secured two wonderful rooms to fill to the brim with our gorgeous members of Social 8, Adelaide Social Singles and Face to Face Dating and their friends to ensure we see the new year in with great fun, laughter and connection. The Avoca Hotel have given us their Glasshouse Room as the main party room where live music will be happening. At this stage we are yet to confirm either the band or DJ however it will be music to get you dancing, laughing, singing along and in the mood to party. We also have the use of the Deck Area which will be set up as a chill out zone ensuring you have a quiet place when needed or to have a place for good conversation with someone you have met. Plus there will be loads of great drink specials and thanks to the Avoca Hotel, we are able to keep the ticket prices very low, only $15 per person to ensure everyone has a good time this New Year’s Eve. Starting at 8pm, the Avoca also does serve meals earlier in the night if you wish to eat before our party starts, however please make a booking with the hotel as this is a busy night for all venues. To help us to make this the best Singles New Years Eve party ever! Share this invitation with anyone who is single and loves to meet new people. And for those who will be coming along, statistically 80% of our guests arrive alone and are all looking to meet new people. So you wont be alone for long. Christmas can for some be a bit of a lonely time, but not with us. We are getting together again Tuesday 24th after work for a final Christmas cheer and would love you to join us. This will be a more low key event sitting in the extraordinary Jungle Bar at the Kent Town Hotel enjoying meeting new people, seeing a few familiar faces and chatting in relaxed conversation. Join us on Christmas Eve from 6pm. We have reserved some tables and the bar is open for purchases.
