20.01.2022 Is a Fair Go too much to ask? Do you always get paid for work you have done? Are you constantly chasing payment for services rendered?... Did you know that under Australian Law a small change at the top of your Business Invoices and a few extra words at the bottom of your Invoices referencing our web site group, means that a Debt Collector can chase money owing to you at the expense of the Debtor with no outlays or costs to you? As a Member of Fair Go For Tradies Group, regardless of what business you are in, when you strike a problem we can instigate proceedings (using Private Debt Recovery Agencies) on your behalf for no cost (all included in your Lifetime Membership). The Fair Go For Tradies Group offer ongoing Hints and Tips such as which Entities to Invoice when you are dealing with large, complicated business company structures. Our collective group Terms and Conditions of Trade are continually being monitored by our Legal Team to be always up to date with the latest Law requirements. Having over twenty-five years’ experience as a casual Service Processor, I have seen firsthand, the ’Hassle’, ‘Heartache’ and ‘Huge Costs’ involved in pursuing funds owed, through the Court system. I have also seen how much easier funds are retrieved when Businesses had utilised the correct precautions and procedures, to be in a position to fully realise their Lawful Right to be paid. 09.01.2022 Have you ever heard this before? How come nobody has wound them up? They owe money everywhere and they are still in business. The cost of the Legal system makes it difficult for smaller operators to pursue debts if they have to go it alone. If the Debtor has to pay all of the costs of being pursued and the Contractor does not have to pay anything, everything changes.... Conversely, Debtors will often wait for larger operators to wind up their Company to save them the expense of doing so themselves. Why? If their relevant licences are with a parent/another company and thus shielded from Creditors, they can go on their merry way. Fair? I don't think so. What do you think? 09.01.2022 A Fair Go For All Small Business You will notice that when you go to our website it is now called www.fairgoforsmallbusinessgroup.com.au The Fair Go For Tradies Group was formed in answer to the number of Sub Contractors being ripped off in the construction industry but it soon became apparent that all types of small businesses in general were facing similar challenges and also needed representation and protection.... The Fair Go For Tradies group is a registered trust and provides small business owners with correct and up to date documentation which puts Debt Collection firms in a legal position to charge your Debtors ongoing fees until such time as they settle their account with you, and at no cost to you. This documentation is something you can set up yourself if you already have a website but if you look at the cost of doing so and the fact that we have a proven track record which can be quite intimidating to a reluctant payer it makes sense to spend pretty much the same tax deductable amount of money and run with a specialist group rather than on your own. The choice is your own of course. https://www.facebook.com/273391106760696/videos/1870629199700145/

09.01.2022 The Fair Go For Tradies Group Terms and Conditions of Trade stipulate time frames for payment, interest payable on default, the legal repossession of goods not paid for, indemnity from all costs associated with chasing down monies owed, as just a few examples. With the correct T&C’s wordings in place a Debt Collection Agency can legally charge your Debtor directly for their collection fees which normally amount to 30% on top of what they collect. In most instances when the Group T&C’s are brought to the attention of your Debtor it negates the need to even instigate proceedings. 07.01.2022 Why use a Debt Collector? Rather than talk about what they might do for you let us talk about Debtors rights to understand the mine field that needs to be traversed by a Collection Agency or yourself. After reading the information below please ask yourself does it not make sense to have the Agency pursue your debt under your own Terms and Conditions of Trade? If you find the following ACCC reference on Google Search the items that appear underneath the web link as listed giv...e the appearance of relevance to Australian Law in all cases. This is not so, as when you check the reference heading for each answer a lot of them are to do with America. This means an argumentative Debtor who believes what they read in all cases is going to come up with irrelevant argument as to why he has certain protection. Better the agency than yourself having to deal with this, especially when the Debtor must pay his commission under your T & Cs. 06.01.2022 Terms & Conditions of Trade Implementation. Welcome to the Fair Go For Small Business Group VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT IMPLEMENTING OUR TERMS WITHOUT ACTUALLY JOINING THE GROUP. IT GIVES YOU NO PROTECTION.... Recently we sadly had an incident where the Group was approached for confirmation of Membership of an individual who followed our instructions but did not join as he thought no questions would be asked. We were not prepared to purger ourselves in Court so this individual is now contemplating the cost of full Legal action to chase down over $50,000. Because he did not join it was deemed that he had no Terms & Conditions of Trade, so all future Court action will be at his cost. We have often been criticised in the past for disclosing so much information up front, but this being an online service means that we have to reach out further to gain the trust of potential members. We can assure you that the cost of a few lost memberships is way less concerning to us than hearing of such an incident which could ruin this poor man's business, hence this important message.
