19.01.2022 Any waterproof fabric will need reproofing once and a while. For our coats we suggest every 3-4 washes. We recommend our coats are hand-washed only using a little wool wash with warm water. They absolutely can be placed in the washing machine on a hand wash cycle but the oil will leak more so than If hand washed. Our Ducksback is a mixture of oil and wax. Warm up your coat and the Ducksback (place in front of heater is the easiest way or use a hairdryer) and rub it into fab...ric. Ducksback is the reason we have so many reports of our coats lasting 15yrs plus. Heres what one customer had to say... our coat went missing for a good year. When we found it it was half buried and covered in mud. We washed it and reproofed it and popped it back on our dog. Cant believe how well it cleaned up See more

We are so very grateful for your ongoing support during this time.... With a daughter who has scared us twice with asthma attacks resulting in hospital stays we begun homeschooling before Dan Andrew's recent closures to schools. Working from home and being able to work nights also allowed us to make this decision. Thankfully our family is blessed to have our animals to wrap our arms around and land to explore around homeschooling and fulfilling your orders. Today a custom told us she wanted the reflective strips added so while out camping she could easily spot her dog using a torch....
