25.01.2022 Here is Forrest in the "sheep saver" He had been cast for a while & this helps him to find his legs again. His best buddies are in the background & he can see some other sheep. We hope he recovers soon.

24.01.2022 These little triplets were not looking flash yesterday. The little guy with the coat on was flat as a tack, but liberal doses of Lamboost & they are all up & about.

24.01.2022 I've had a few enquiries from other breeders about Lamboost. Here is some information about it & I would highly recommend it.

16.01.2022 Look who shared view this morning. We had a laugh.

16.01.2022 A couple of unexpected little surprises. The ram was in for one night only & We have these, a single & more to come. The ewe is Darmus one of my bottle fed babies from last year.

16.01.2022 Spent all day yesterday sorting out girls for breeding this year. Hercules has 5 white girls to.keep the stud going. Next pic is Face (from Ronelles Cloverleaf Corriedales with his 4 girls. Next one is Bozo, a very different black with his 2 girls. Last pic is the boys who didn't get a gig this year looking longingly over a reinforced fence!!! Not so many this year but keen to see what colours we get. ... All the other girls are a long way away. See more

15.01.2022 CANCELLED OPEN DAY. Due to the current social distancing guidelines and also given that I have symptoms ( fever, sore throat, dry cough but not within the guidelines to be tested) and Gerry has shingles ( so not allowed near kids for 14 days) it is with regret that we cancel our advertised farm open day on Saturday March 28th. We are in lockdown here for a while. So sorry to disappoint folks, we were looking forward to it also.

15.01.2022 When you are relaxing with the children and you know you just have to get up.

15.01.2022 This is Lammy with her triplets born last night. Lammy was the little ewe that had 2 broken front legs 2 years ago. An excellent recovery.

15.01.2022 Tiny triplets. The little guy with the coat on was unable to stand last night. Liberal doses of Lamboost & he's up & suckling.

15.01.2022 This morning. 1 set black triplets, 1 set white triplets & 1 set white twins. Go girls!

14.01.2022 We have a double loose box but we'll squeeze into one side. See Arkys white star on his head behind Henry.

12.01.2022 Not quick enough with the camera but saw something on my walk today that I'm sure not many people have seen. Copulating wombats!!!! I hope they make lots of little ones. We love wombats.

12.01.2022 It's not staying on the ground but definitely snowing here.

12.01.2022 Some of the boys got brand new grey coats today. Thank you Melanie.

12.01.2022 After crawling around on the floor for the best part of an hour I'm convinced that the hardest part about a shawl is the blocking!!!

11.01.2022 Some nice shades of yellow and green with Tumeric and peach leaves. Now balled & packed. See our store at Fairfield Finns Ecwid

11.01.2022 Meet Houdini( he keeps getting out of his coat) & Princess. They are the survivors of our 2020 lambing disaster. They lost their mum & 2 brothers on Monday. The vet could not save them. 1 of our best ewes of course. But these 2 look like they will make it now. They have 2 coats on as we had snow yesterday.

08.01.2022 So here are the best of our fleece all skirted and weighed waiting to be packed for Bendigo and another few markets. Since that is not happening have a look at my new shop at Fairfield Finns. Oh well it can always go to be processed into yarn! Stay well and happy crafting.

08.01.2022 So here is Hercules & his mates Bob & Graham. He is an escape artist but the panels should stop him. Hercules was our first born lamb last year ( the one in the video with the coat on )

08.01.2022 Hi jinks in the loose box. The white l lambs will run with these but they don't jump.

08.01.2022 And so it begins for 2019. Nice triplets. The little guy with the coat on was very flat but put on a hot water bottle and given several doses of the magic Lamboost and he's up & about with his sisters.

07.01.2022 The very worst thing about making a shawl is the blocking! Crawled around it for over an hour. It is knitted in our lovely continuous 2 ply. Very light and soft.

06.01.2022 A fairly traumatic arrival for these little girls. These are big lambs for a maiden Finn so we had to pull them last night. They have had their Lamboost & all are recovering well.

06.01.2022 This is what the wind brought us. Lots of work!! Luckily no sheep in this paddock today.

02.01.2022 Here's some pics from shearing day. James (the shearer) did an excellent job again Thanks also to all our helpers especially Bella who tried everything. A good season makes for excellent fleece. I'll be busy for a while, sorting , weighting and bagging.

02.01.2022 They are not being bottle fed anymore but they still like a pat.

02.01.2022 These are the children of Cloverleaf Face - Brown Corriedale. 2 girls & 2 very black girls. The white ones are just some nice Finns

02.01.2022 We're going to fly to our new home in China soon so we had to be shorn. It's so cold and wet that we will be in the shed for a few days with our coats on.

02.01.2022 A bit of a scrum today when the boys came out from being with their respective girls. All settled down now.
