16.01.2022 Figures show that the average Australian is consuming 14 teaspoons of sugar a day, a whole lot more than the maximum 6 teaspoons a day recommended by the World Health Organisation for increased health benefits such as decreasing the risk of tooth decay, which is having a profoundly negative effect on Australians dental health as revealed by Australia's Oral health Tracker. This week, we will be sharing some simple tips with you to show you how easy it is to keep your teeth ...and gums healthy! Check out the Oral Health Tracker at: http://www.ada.org.au/oralhealthtracker

03.01.2022 Covid-19 has created a lot of uncertainty in our community! Understandably, people are staying away from the places they used to visit freely before the pandemic hit. Our Practice is a little different to other places, here's why: We protect ourselves and our patients from infectious diseases everyday.... We follow the Infections Guidelines recommended by the Australian Dental Association. We autoclave all of our instruments and handpieces after each patient. Anything that cannot be autoclaved is single use and are disposed of after each patient. We are asking all our patients to stay home if they are feeling unwell or have travelled recently. We have hand sanitiser readily available for all to use, before and after appointments. We have removed all magazines from our waiting area to minimise any possible transmission.

01.01.2022 FRIDAY FACT... With Dental Health Week coming up next week, it's a perfect time to check in on how much sugar you are consuming!
