11.01.2022 The Female Leadership Network (FLN) is excited to present our final event for 2020, coming to you online on Thursday 3 DEC. Join us for 'Nourishing a Thriving Culture' with Kemi Nekvapil How do leaders create a thriving culture, if they are not thriving themselves? Vibrancy and passion cannot be faked or sustained, when leaders are constantly giving to the team and not to themselves. This keynote session with Kemi will: Demonstrate why understanding the team is the key t...o understanding the self Prove that actions have more power than words Explain why the hardest aspect of leadership is the most powerful aspect of leadership . ’ . . . 11.01.2022 #Repost @lifesavingvic with @make_repost Full Lifesaving patrols at Victorian coastal clubs kick off from today, Saturday 28 NOV We've been preparing for a long time for this moment! Many Victorians haven’t been out on the water for a while, so we urge everyone to please take extra precautions to prepare and plan your day. ... Remember these important water safety messages to help everyone stay safe by the water (all links below in bio): Wherever possible, swim at a beach patrolled by lifesavers and between the red and yellow flags. Find a patrolled beach: https://beachsafe.org.au/ Supervise children closely around water and always swim with friend. Check the weather before you head out. Watch for changing conditions, cool changes and wind direction changes that could impact your beach activities: http://www.bom.gov.au/ Check beach closures and emergency info: https://emergency.vic.gov.au/respond/ If you’re going boating, make sure your vessel is in good working order and you’ve packed your safety gear. Check boat ramps and conditions: https://www.boating.vic.gov.au/ Don't get out of your depth! Know your own capabilities and plan what you need to do to stay safe. Read safety signs and check beach hazard ratings a beach with a rating of 8/10 won’t be suitable for swimming for most people. Keep 1.5 metres apart (length of a beach towel or surfboard), carry your mask to wear indoors or in case you can’t physically distance and don't forget the hand sani! Visit our website: www.lsv.com.au/summersafety for further info, and for the most up-to-date COVIDSafe advice please visit: www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au Have fun and stay safe out there everyone
