25.01.2022 Big day with the Slayers today. Steve Atkins, Wayne Bennett,Mick Husband And Scutt Nicholson, jumped on the van supplied by Steve for the day and hit the road to Geeveston for the day. Scores 4th for the day Mick 113-36 77 +6... 3rd Wayne 103-27-76 +5 2nd Steve 98-24-74 + 3 1st scutt 92-22-70 -1 Wayne was going great till he hit a 14 on one hole and bought him back to earth. Mick showed vast improvements throughout the day and with a new driver started to smoke a few down the fairways. Steve couldn’t get any luck with plenty of par opportunities only to putt short in several occasions. Scutt played fairly consistent with a few holes letting him down. Overall a great day with the Slayers. Scutt won the monthly medal at Geeveston for the day. So chance to win the overall championship at the end of the year. Good luck next round boys

24.01.2022 Great day at Kingston Beach with Grant Bennet for the State Ambrose championship. 1 under for the day. Putting was our demise today. Had plenty of birdie chances but just couldn’t sink them.

22.01.2022 Round 4 took place today at Elderslie with only 10 shots between 3rd and 1st. The course was in pretty good condition with near perfect weather to boot. finally a few round under par and 1 even par for the day. final Results 3rd place with a -1 today Sy Prins with a overall total plus 32 over four rounds. 2nd place with a even round today Wayne Bennet and a overall total plus 26.... 1st place with a -3 today Scutt Nicholson with an overall total plus 19 and 2018-19 club champion. We done today boys was played in great spirit and under pressure. Trophy will be presented at Barnbougle in 2 weeks. Tough conditions to start with on the front 9 but once the sun come out it was spectacular conditions. Toby come with the boys today and drive the cart around the fairways . Had a blast.

16.01.2022 Just a bit over a week to go Fellers. Going to be a epic 5 days of chilling, drinking, churping and pleanty of Golf. Please bring fire wood if you can. I’ll bring as much as I can to keep us all warm at night. Who would be keen on bringing some Prizes??? Maybe max up too $50. It can be golf related or something else to hand out on Saturday night. I’ll nominate Steve Atkins to think on what prizes are awarded for the 3 days of golf. White jacket and trophy are up for grabs every day also. Nightly awards for players.
