24.01.2022 SNEAKY!! Treated pine post set in concrete in the lowest corner of the homes subfloor - termites have built a mud tube and entered the house. They had made their way around the bottom plate of the timber frame and damaged 3 bedrooms - all undetected! Picked this up on a recent Termite inspection - owners requested an inspection to prepare for sale of house - had no idea they were sharing their home with unwanted guests.

23.01.2022 Coptotermes doing what they do best!! These guys have infested a double storey house. They have tracked up from the ground floor.

21.01.2022 Shedorhinotermes attacking a pallet within a warehouse. They have tracked beneath the concrete slab, found an opening, popped up and gone to work.

19.01.2022 Recently did a termite inspection on a property where the owner required a routine termite inspection - first time I had seen the property. I found this small mark on the skirting board behind the couch in the last room I inspected. Cut a small hole in the gyprock and termites fell out all over the carpet. They have been treated with Termidor dust and the termite barrier installed.

15.01.2022 These guys have been around recently. Beautiful looking but don't get bitten! I am finding a lot of them in garages, normally amongst items that are stacked in the corners where the garage doors close. They have a very messy web. Just be careful.
