24.01.2022 A fairly successful Qld Champs for the squad. PBs and medals for most. Multiple medals for this trio. Also a dominant win for Prosper in the 200m, personal bests for Gase and Ethan, a solid first race for Adrine. Happy days.

Event: 100m, 200m Motivation: The feeling of pushing myself, finding new limits during training and competition. At the end of the day i want to see just how fast i can actually run. Inspiration: As a kid I've always looked up to Usain Bolt. I got envious of his speed and it made me strive to be the fastest. It makes me aspire to prove my worth as the greatest sprinter i can be. 02.01.2022 Athletics Fiji Heleina arrived in Australia over the weekend and has already settled into the Oceania Athletics House. This week she ...commenced training (pictured with her new squad) and started her Bachelor of Business Degree at Griffith University. 02.01.2022 Great results again from Qld Athletics Championships for the squad today. Aasha added to her 400m medal with a silver in the U14 100m. Training partner 'Gase made her first State final finishing 4th in the same race. Ana is coming back to form after a long injury break, taking bronze in the U16 100m, with only thousands of a second from silver. Sierra is showing signs of getting back to her best with silver in the U15 400m. Elly backed up from last night's PB with silver ...in the Open womens 100m into a horrible headwind, which was the theme of the day. Prosper showed his strong finish again taking gold in U18 100m. Looking forward to the 200m tomorrow and will add photos and video as we get them.. See more
