15.01.2022 Have you ever wondered why a walk in the bush can have such a therapeutic effect and help you to forget the worries of the world? Well there is some pretty compelling scientific evidence to back up the notion that getting back to nature can really help you to relax and to reduce stress. This article looks at how creating 'tranquil spaces' can help people find 'refuge from the din of city life'. Don't forget our next Faith Works Forum is on managing stress and is now only just over a week away.

15.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who joined us at our stress forum on Wednesday evening at Faith Works, Norman Park. The feedback from participants was positive with everyone really enjoying the talk. We would like to thank the University of Queensland's Dr Nick Lavidis for giving up his time (and at a very busy time in a University lecturer's year!) to assist us with our Speaking of Wellness community program. If you are interested in learning more about how you can better manage the stress in your life, you are very welcome to attend our FREE follow up workshop at 5:30pm next Wednesday (29 November), again at Faith Works, Norman Park. You can find out more information and register to attend in the post below.
