24.01.2022 With winter fast approaching, now is the time to add Algaecide to your swimming pool. Used as a winteriser in the non-swimming period to keep your pool free of most algae.

24.01.2022 Only a working smoke alarm can alert you and your family to a fire in your home. All smoke alarm units should be replaced every 10 years. Smoke alarms powere...d by a 9 volt battery should have the battery replaced every 12 months. We now recommend Smoke Alarms with a ten-year lithium battery. Clean your smoke alarm at least once a year Test your batteries regularly For more information visit https://www.cfa.vic.gov.au/smokealarms

20.01.2022 Pool Tip: For a quick way to remove oils from the surface of a swimming pool, throw a tennis ball into your skimmer basket or even right into the pool! Most ten...nis balls are made from a blend of nylon and wool and the rough material attracts foreign bodies in the water. Now thats an easy, inexpensive, and eco-friendly way to keep your pool clean! #pooltips #supremeheating #warmpools #solarheating #tennisball #cleanpools #poolheating #swimmingpools #swimming

19.01.2022 Out and about when Andrew came across this...

18.01.2022 SPASA two-part documentary series evokes deep nostalgia and childhood memories by looking at Australian identity through the prism of the swimming pool. Starts Sunday September 22 at 7.40pm on ABC

16.01.2022 Spring has sprung and summer is on its way, dont forget, this Sunday morning the clocks go forward one hour at 02.00am to 03.00am.

15.01.2022 Aaron, one of our Falcon Fresh techs has reported back this afternoon that he had to pull a couple of extra items out of the skimmer box today.. I think the client needs to get a cat.....

15.01.2022 From the team at Falcon Fresh we would like to wish you and your families a safe and happy Easter

14.01.2022 Falcon Fresh currently have a position available for a Swimming Pool Service Technician. Please see advert attached for further details.

13.01.2022 Hi Freshies, Make sure your solar filters are cleaned. The 1st picture is of one that hasnt been cleaned. The 2nd is after a clean. The first 1 had to be replaced by us and now that we are servicing this pool, this will be cleaned with each service. Our new clients that belong to the ruined filter came to us as the people they were using didnt take enough care and didnt maintain the pool correctly. The pictures are just one part of the issues their pool had.

12.01.2022 Its not often we are all together in one place at the same time... Thank you for the team for getting together for a training session.

11.01.2022 Falcon Fresh would like to wish all our customers and Facebook followers a safe and happy Easter.

10.01.2022 This is Lucky. Lucky has decided to play with a water leveller float today. Lucky is making life difficult for Aaron. Lucky is a cheeky little fella. Lucky will do this again

09.01.2022 For all serving members, both past & present.

08.01.2022 Not often our cars get to catch up. Here they are checking each other out

07.01.2022 *** updates*** We are having reports from some of our customers today, they have been running their filters as below.. they are clearing up quite well. ~~~~~~~...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What to do if your pool was hit with the dirty rain; The first thing is take your cleaner out, so if youve got a creepy crawly or a robot, take it out Put the filtration system and (if you have) infloor onto Manual and keep it running. Take staging photos so that you can monitor if the water is clearing. Use a type of coagulant (this can be bought from your local pool shop) ~ what that will do is join all the dust particles together so as they can be filtered out Keep your filtration running for 24 hours, after 4-6 hours check filter pressure, if high run your filter through the backwash mode Backwashing your pool; 1 Turn off pump 2 Turn handle on filter control valve to Backwash position 3 Turn pump on for 3 minutes (Min) 4 Turn off pump 5 Turn handle to rinse position 6 Turn pump on for 30 seconds or until sight glass clear 7 Turn pump off 8 Turn handle to filter position 9 Turn pump on If there is no change in the water, then please contact your maintenance person and they will be able to let you know what steps to take next. Alternatively, call the Falcon office and speak to one of the team 9793 2444

07.01.2022 While you may not be using your pool during winter, you still need to check your equipment and chemicals. As seen below, the customer ran out of acid and the system still tried to draw acid from an empty bottle.

07.01.2022 Please dont let your baskets get this full. This can cause pressure on pumps. Also the cost to replace the baskets are not cheap. Keep the baskets empty for good pool management .

07.01.2022 Another heater that hasnt been serviced often. Our technician Andrew discovered this at a recent home visit.

06.01.2022 Wishing you all a safe and happy labour day weekend

06.01.2022 To all our valued friends and clients. With all the new fence rulings coming in please be very careful with who you engage to do your fence inspections and barr...ier certifications. It has been brought to our attention that there are dodgy companies out there that have been trying to scam people into paying hundreds of dollars to act on your behalf. Please make sure that you check with your local council as to your pool registration fees, most councils will more than likely be charging fees well under $100. Registrations can be done on online and does not need a 3rd party. Should you have any queries, please fell free to contact the office 97932444

05.01.2022 Its nearly that time of year to change your equipment over to summer mode. Now is the time to start checking your pool, pool equipment and fences to ensure they are all in good working order. If you would like us to visit, please book in now to avoid the rush
