21.01.2022 Do you live by the meal planner? Sunday is my planning day. Personally I find it less stressful AND I save money as I don't throw out food AND I don't have to hear "what's for dinner? a thousand times".... I usually find I need a "Left Overs" night because we end up with lot's of bits and bobs in the fridge - I turn left overs usually into pizza using a simple wrap as a base. Here are a few other tips I usually have up my sleeve : - 1 x B.A.D Night (Breakfast As Dinner) think bacon and eggs or even cereal - 1 x K. I. C Night (Kitchen Is Closed) So it's take away or Help Yourself - 1 x Week Off (Order Meal Delivery, the week is going to be crazy - try @DinnerSorted) - 1 x K.I.K Night (Kids In the Kitchen) Kids make dinner for the adults, depending on skill set this CAN be good 1 x Try Something New - Try a new recipe because I am sick of cooking the same thing! (try something from Healthy on a Budget) How do you manage dinners so you can get to the table?? Share your tips please

20.01.2022 Remember that Butter Chicken that I made from scratch?? Well........ this isn't it!! This one is from a packet, I just added the chicken and some vegetables and guess what?... 1. We ate dinner at 7pm instead of 9pm 2. It was so easy I was able to roast some cauliflower with Indian spices at the same time to boost up the veggie intake of the meal. 3. It tasted delicious and my kids had no idea that it came from a packet mix. My message here is to be kind to yourself. Sometimes (especially mid week) you can't do it all and have to prioritise what is important, for my family it is the time we spend together around the table.

07.01.2022 With a heavy heart we recently had to make the decision to close the meal delivery arm of Around The Table. Our goal at Around The Table, has been to help families spend more quality time together by creating fast delicious meals the whole family loves (creating more time) and delivering easy and fun prompts for conversation together (building the quality). As a small business, the journey to being a meal delivery service has been a long and interesting one. We t...ested so many suppliers as our demands for quality, family appeal and value for money were high. We have had a wonderful 6 months with our chosen supplier, but sadly due to the impacts of COVID-19, it is no longer viable for them to supply Around The Table meals. During this last 6 months, the response from families and feedback we received only convinced us further that families are hungry for more valuable time Around The Table, and are still struggling to find meal delivery options that the whole family will eat. In the meantime, well be providing lots of content to help families bond better and of course, our Conversational Dinner Cards will continue to be available online, with exciting new products launching over the next few months.
