19.01.2022 Day 21 we survived the trip across the Bass Strait (2 to 3m waves). We got off the Spirit of Tasmania in Port Melbourne, and headed for Geelong as we got closer the rain got heavier. We had breakfast in Geelong at 7am then headed off towards Apollo Bay along the Great Ocean Rd. The rain did not ease up until we got to Apollo Bay. We stopped at Anglesea for a coffee break and to get out of the rain, and a pit stop at Lorne. We arrived in Apollo Bay soaked right through.

09.01.2022 Day 23 Final ride, sun was shining we left Warnambool, stopped at Tower Hill, and met up with Alan and Bridget from Throw Your Leg Over, for brunch in Port Fairy. Then off to Portland to check out our own Portland Family Holiday House and have lunch overlooking the port, then home via Nelson Road to Mount Gambier, South Australia. Back to work and school for us all tomorrow.

04.01.2022 Day 22 This morning while riding out of Apollo Bay Sandra had a bee fly into her helmet through the open visor, and got stung on the cheek. She pulled over we flicked the bee off, then I had to use my multitool to remove the stinger and the sack, Sandra is allergic to Bee stings, so she took some antihistamines and we went on to check out the Hospital in Apollo Bay. She got checked out and was released 30 minutes later, luckily she was fine. We then headed off down the Great Ocean road towards Warnambool. We stopped to see the 12 Apostles, the Loch Ard Gorge. We had lunch at Port Campbell, and stopped to check out the London Bridge and Bay of Martyrs.
