17.01.2022 We love a good home corner at Family House Child Care. It encourages so many learning opportunities and gives the children the freedom to role play, to participate in co-operative play or investigate independently. Our educator Lily is very passionate about the home corner and continually looks at ways to keep the children interested, she also takes the lead from the children and their interest.

08.01.2022 We love loose parts play at Family House Child Care. We started with an empty area in our yard and slowly we added spare parts, bit and pieces. This created a space where the children can build, dig, pull apart. move, change, add to, or take away, it has no end. Loose parts play can be created from nothing, we find things at the op shop or the salvage yard, or our own things from home. It promotes the 3 R's, Reduce, Reuse, & Recycle.
