19.01.2022 Friday night fake away! Creamy coconut curry chicken I did have plans to order pizza tonight as hubby was working late and I was riding solo with the kids.. but I couldn’t help myself! I couldn’t bring myself to order take away ... 1. The expense 2. The crap they fill take out with 3. I was able to put dinner on to cook while I picked up the kids from daycare so it was ready to serve when we got home 4. I stuck to my meal plan and didn’t waste the food we had already purchased 5. Working out the logistics of it.. it literally took me 30mins from turning my Thermomix on to running a self clean afterwards. Verses ordering pizza that would have been approx 1-1.5hrs to be delivered on a Friday night. It’s a no brainer really!! 36 months interest free has been extended till Monday 23rd Sept. 11.01.2022 Now in the spirit of honesty I didn’t realise the difference between store bought butter vs making our own butter when we started making it in our Thermomix. It was just something I did because I knew it was better for us and we were saving money... that was until I purchased store bought butter out of convenience last fortnight as I was late in doing my groceries. NEVER AGAIN!! Every part of me cringed when I used it on my toast! The smell.. the taste.. the texture.. how I f...elt afterwards!! 07.01.2022 Father’s Day dessert! Apple crumble with salted caramel ice cream.. OH MY GOD! For this dessert I mixed and matched 2 recipes.... I made the Apple crumble from the Apple crumble & vanilla Cashew ice cream recipe on cookidoo and made the Salted caramel ice cream from cookidoo. I was pleasantly surprised how quick and easy this was to make!
