24.01.2022 TOWNSVILLE HAY DELIVERY Just an update on the supposed hay delivery in Townsville today... We will wait a bit longer to see what the weather is going to do to make a decision, have had reports of showers already on our road and we have had 57 mls of rain here yesterday. Tomorrow is predicted to be fine so if today is out, tomorrow will be a definite. Sorry for the plan changes, just don't want to end up with wet hay. 23.01.2022 Farleigh Hay would like to advise that due to predictions of rain off and on this week/weekend and the situation we put you/us in when we lost hay to rain last cut, we unfortunately won't be able to cut or deliver this week/weekend. We will keep you posted and as soon as we have hay available we will be delivering. Sorry!

18.01.2022 We wish to advise our customers that our next cut of prime lucerne will increase in price to $19/bale due to rising costs on the farm. Also to those that we deliver lucerne to we are now having to add a delivery cost of $1/bale to cover our fuel costs. We endeavour to keep our prices as low as possible but unfortunately with rising costs we have had to follow through.

14.01.2022 Rhodes Rounds have all been sold. We have just baled Lucerne rounds 4x3 and Rhodes mix rounds 4x3. Lucerne rounds are heavy bales averaging the equivalent of 7 small squares. These bales are priced equivalent to 5 of our small squares bales. Rhodes bales are predominantly Rhodes but also have Urochloa and Green Panic. A select few have sorghum as well. ... 04.01.2022 "Weather permitting" we will be trying to get two loads of lucerne to Townsville today. At the moment it is looking fine enough, just hoping that most people might be able to meet either near the Walk-a-bout servo at Cluden or Yabulu if possible. This "may" be our only dry day if you can believe the weather reports. Thanks.

03.01.2022 Our plans of cutting hay tomorrow weather permitting have obviously changed. We were concerned that today may be wet so for a change we've made the right decision. Will plan again and advise and in the mean time we'll enjoy the rain. Apologies to everyone waiting, we are doing the best we can to predict the weather and cut without getting it wet. This 47 ml is on top of 55 ml a few days ago. Hope everyone that needs rain is also getting it...
