Vacuum sealing keeps bacteria out and gives your food a longer fridge life. The meal in the picture is an example... Teriyaki beef...made with my own crushed garlic and home grown honey. The garlic butter on the potatoes is also my crushed garlic and my own dried home grown parsley. There would be a selection of different flavoured marinades along with different fresh vegies.Literally 15 minutes to cook and youre done. No mess, no fuss. My kitchen is council certified. 19.01.2022 Hi guys, I am doing meals this week only for those who have privately messaged me wanting them as this week I will have home made cordial concentrate with blood oranges, lemons and limes from our trees...and a few left over oranges left from last week. It can be mixed with vodka and soda water or leave out the alcohol for a refreshing afternoon drink to quench your thirst. 16.01.2022 2 weeks ago we had the sad job of having to put our mum into a nursing home. With failing health, Alzheimers and vascular dementia it was no longer safe for her to be at home alone. We had all noticed a rapid decline with mum but not more so to me until she stayed with Peter and I for a month before the admission to the facility. She had had 4 falls within about 4 months so the decision was made for her to come and stay with us until we found the appropriate place for her. ...Mum has always been adamant that this was not where she would live the rest of her time however it would have been irresponsible of us as her children not to make this move. Shes had good days and bad as you would expect and if I see I have a phone call from her I worry it will be a call to say how sad she is. It has taken a huge toll on me and my 5 brothers Im sure but I have to tell myself every day that I know she is safe and eating. Part of mums condition is that in her mind there are grubs, centrepedes and even baby crocodiles in her food so she had understandably lost a lot of weight. She did tell me the other day upon asking her about the grubs that she checks the food all the time. It was her birthday last weekend and I made her a cake. I was flattered to see she ate it without checking for the elusive grubs hahaha. Anyone who has had to go through what we are going through, I applaude you and feel your anguish, pain and sadness because it has been a difficult and emotional time. 16.01.2022 Bliss balls, protein balls, energy balls....whatever you call them, these little balls of delight are so very tasty. I asked Peter to buy me a box of beautiful fresh medjool dates last week to make them. These little gems also have in them...flaxseeds, chia seeds, rolled oats, peanut butter and our exquisite home 'grown' raw honey...all blended together and rolled in coconut. $6 for a bag of 6. 05.01.2022 Hey everyone, I hope your Saturday has been great. Beautiful rain has filled our tanks and given the garden a nice drink, hope youve all jad good rain too. I have a new vacuum sealer so on the menu next week will be Sweet & Sour Pork, veg and rice and Mongolian Beef, veg and noodles. I had a lovely response from the last meals and positive feedback. The one thing that a couple of people did say was they thought they were a little bit small so I will increase the size. Thes...e are vacuum sealed meals that are prepped but NOT cooked but it will literally only take you 15 mins to get ready. If you would like to try these next week please put your order in by 7pm Sunday night.
