16.01.2022 Do you know how to treat a burn? Never use ice to cool burn. Cool running water for 20 minutes and then wrap in glad wrap to keep in the moisture in and germs out. Call 000. The aims of first aid treatment of burns should be to stop the burning process, cool the burn and cover the burn. This will provide pain relief and minimize tissue loss.

But Please contact us direct if you need your qualification to continue your employment. We are arranging one on one or limited number of students for CPR Courses and small First Aid Classes. 09.01.2022 Would you know how to treat a serious burn? Cool running water for up to 20 minutes, cover in glad wrap and seek medical attention. You should NEVER apply ice or ice cold water to a burn, as chilled/ iced cold water can cause further tissue damage and cause a rapid decrease in body temperature. Making a bad situation worse. This little 1 year old girl touched a turned off BBQ on Fathers Day and received second degree burns. She then spent the following week with daily docto...rs appointments to dress her hand. It only takes a minute for this to happen to a inquisitive toddler. Remember to guard the BBQ untill it has completely cooled down. 09.01.2022 Sadly. 115 days after Australia's first case of coronavirus, we have reached a death toll of 100. Sad as it is, it could have been so much worse without the courage of our leaders locking down the country early and the nation complying so consistently. Now as we start opening up carefully and safely, knowing thousands of lives have been kept safe so far, let's tread carefully as we go forward.

Please take a photo of one you see and upload into the comments so we can educate our community. It is vital that anyone experiencing a cardiac arrest receives immediate and appropriate treatment, CPR and the use of a defibrillator.
