21.01.2022 ***Walk-A-Thon & Colour Run*** Friday 4th December We will be holding our annual Walk-a-thon & Colour Run again this year. ... Unfortunately parents will be unable to spectate this year, but we will be sure to take plenty of photos to share. How it all works: Students will be grouped in year levels (Foundation, years 1 & 2, years 3 & 4, years 5 & 6) and will run or walk around the school oval for 30 minutes over the course of the day. After lunch all students who have raised money for the event (please see attached Sponsor sheet) will have some fun and get splashed with coloured powder by the staff! (coloured powder information is overleaf) All students are encouraged to collect sponsors for their running/walking efforts. Dress: Students are encouraged to wear causal white/light coloured clothing on the day. The coloured powder is washable, but we suggest no ‘Sunday best’ clothes are worn to school on the day. Sponsorship: This is a school fundraising event, so we encourage all families to look for sponsorship from family, friends, colleagues and neighbours and send completed forms into the school office no later than Wednesday the 2nd of December. Any amount raised will qualify students to participate in the Colour Run part of the day. Please ensure the sponsorship form, money and permission slip are completed and returned to school by the due date.
