10.01.2022 New firmware update is available for the Iridium 9555 handset. Our customers are welcome to visit and have us upgrade for free at our Subiaco office! This update addresses: Calls to the Australian emergency services number 000 are now are permitted when no SIM card is present in the handset.... Added necessary conversions for display of time on user interface in Iridium network era 2 and other era detection and transition improvements. An issue that would arise when the handset was transmitting and receiving SMS messages at the same time has been corrected. We hope to see you soon.

09.01.2022 Fastwave receives repeat order from BP in the USA for Voyager Oil Spill Tracking buoys. The Voyager buoys, which provide real-time ocean surface current tracking, will be used to support BPs oil spill response capability and are supported by Fastwaves online buoy tracking system. The Australian designed and manufactured Voyager buoys have been ordered by many offshore oil and gas operators and service providers for oil spill response and oceanographic applications since their introduction in 2014.
