Router location can play a big part, even the TP-Link VR1600v (basic router used by many ISPs) will cover most 3-4 bedroom homes if well positioned. One of our technicians can assess and relocate your equipment to optimise signal distribution. In larger homes, or homes where other factors may be contributing to signal issues, adding additional access points would be another solution we could offer.

17.01.2022 MULTIPLE NBN TECHNICIANS HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIX MY DROPOUTS, WHAT WOULD FAUCAB DO DIFFERENT? NBN technicians are paid to confirm a working service at the time of their appointment. Dropouts can occur sporadically. So, if there is a fluctuating signal, an NBN tech can attend site, run tests and leave, only having to prove they have changed one component in their visit. On any Fault Rectification performed by Faulconbridge Cabling, our technician will change all connectors from the network boundary to the wall plate, as well as run a health check on all cables. Where cable replacement is required either internally or lead-in, this can usually occur on the day of your appointment.

10.01.2022 WHY HAVE I BEEN TOLD I NEED A PRIVATE TECHNICIAN? As NBN contractor rates are set by the delivery partner, it is not uncommon that your NBN technician will assess a job and determine it is beyond the scope of a standard installation on the day. In these situations, the NBN tech may advise NBN that a private technician is required to run the cable before activation.
