25.01.2022 Congratulations Lara Nakhle on winning the Grand Final (Female category) of the TSA Talent quest. Lara arrived today with her parents, Antoinette and Charles, ...stepped in and won her heat, then followed up by winning the Grand Final. As she didn’t have her I accompanied her on guitar, with pleasure. Being a songwriting association, the TSA appreciates original songs, and the judges really liked the two songs Lara sang, Love Left Behind written by Roxanne Kiely, Lara, John Clement and myself, and OK Cupid, written by Roxanne Kiely, Lara Nakhle and myself. 21.01.2022 Emma Jene will be performing at Seaforth Bowling Club on February 29th. Recently reaching number 6 in the Aria Chart for her album, Erosion, she was also a winner at the Tasmanian Independent Country music awards being awarded National female artist of the year. A lovely lady with a beautiful voice....keep tuned for more details nearer the time and find out who will be supporting her in this fantastic show.

18.01.2022 Last Saturday night a group of Macarthur Country Music Club members went over to Seaforth Bowling Club to help raise much needed funds for Bear Cottage. I just heard that $11,000 was raised, what a great effort. Well done Sue & John Clements it was an amazing night.

17.01.2022 Hi All I have just returned from an emergency meeting at SBC & it is with deep regret that I need to inform you that out forth coming cabaret has been postponed till further notice due to virus measures & restrictions placed on our club.... . It is our club’s intention to go ahead with this show when the virus is not a risk. I appreciate your understanding during this very difficult time & sincerely hope all performers & ScoopX will join me in putting on this show at another time. Best regards John Clement
