25.01.2022 Daylight savings ends tomorrow Sunday 4th April - at 3am, remember to change your clocks back one hour to 2am. It’s also time to replace the battery in your smoke alarm. Only a working smoke alarm will alert you to a fire and can save your life. Don't assume they are working, please remember to test them!

22.01.2022 With the official end to the quietest fire season in more than a decade, a welcome and stark contrast to last year. This season, NSW RFS members have responded to just over 5,500 bush and grass fires that have burnt 30,963 hectares across NSW, considerably less than the 11,400 fires and 5.5 million hectares lost last season. Thank you to our incredible members who continuously step up to help when called upon, protecting communities across the state ... If you do wish to burn anything, there is a requirement that you notify the RFS and your nieghbours 24 hours prior to burning. 14.01.2022 An amazing effort from the Federation Support NSW RFS Brigade in Sanger St this morning raised at total of $3,226.75 for the Good Friday Appeal! We also collected from campers along the Murray between Corowa and Mulwala, and delivering bushfire/campfire awareness advice.
