19.01.2022 Interesting isn't it.....the double standards that apply? There has for some time very clearly been one rule for farmers to which they are expected to adhere. A rule where total transparency is expected and anything less makes us criminals with something to hide. A rule that means farming families, from the children upwards, are the subject of scrutiny and vitriol from activists who claim the high moral ground. ... I find the fact that our most prominent activist who openly advocates for activists to undertake illegal activities of trespass and theft and who has openly exposed so many of our farming families home addresses and other details on a website, has a mother who is not just public servant within the Department of Agriculture, but a Director! This is someone whose decisions and negotiations will have a direct impact on our agricultural industries and our farmers. Even more ridiculous is the expectation that the very same scrutiny that our farmers are subjected to, should not apply to Mr Delforce or his family. Are you concerned? I know I am.

It has become apparent that our farmers are reluctant to tell their story in the public eye due to fear of reprisal and harassment, and honestly can anyone blame them?
