24.01.2022 Wishing all you creative lovelies a very Happy Christmas(isn’t it wonderful to be out of lockdown in time!) FeesArtWorx has been taking a break from workshops to set up a new Art Therapy practice in Footscray...but workshops will be back in in 2021! What a year hey! I think I’m not alone in feeling exhausted Such an emotional roller coaster and so many changes to our lives where Zoom, plexi screens, keep-your-distance, and hand sanitisers now reign! Jimmy loves the new p...lace (that’s him in the pic watching the world go by from the waiting room) and I have an art room at last, yay! Had a milestone birthday (60, stop it!) and ditched the COVID blonde regrowth to go a-la-natural. While I would not wish for another 2020, like a seedling springing up from a harsh, pavement crack, some really good things have come out of being stopped in one’s tracks and forced to reevaluate life. May your 2021 be a better year. Fee xo See more

18.01.2022 Here’s a snapshot from Yesterday’s zoom online Alcohol Ink workshop. Fantastic how inventive those who couldn’t get all the supplies because of lockdown were. I think the absolute classic, though, had to be when Vicki couldn’t find her isopropyl alcohol to mix with the inks So she made do with vodka instead! Love it!

13.01.2022 Creativity isn’t just about making art; it’s about thinking outside the square. With art materials being in short supply at the moment, Zoom workshop participant Shelley came up with the great idea of using Sharpies (accessible from the supermarket) if you can’t get alcohol inks. Amanda then proceeded to give Shelley’s suggestion a try using the purple Sharpie to colour in areas of a ceramic tile and then drop isopropyl rubbing alcohol into it. Love the result!
