25.01.2022 Elle, Hanoverian WB mare owned by Lauren, enjoying the mornings first rays of sunshine down at 13th Beach, Barwon Heads. High tide during the night had brought with it lots of sea weed but Elle wasnt fazed, no monsters hiding there.

23.01.2022 It was a trying morning on the beach. I had difficulty keeping my camera and my subjects dry in the drizzly weather. 22.01.2022 These 2 beauties are Harley (Grey, Percheron x Warmblood) and Barrister (Brown, Clydesdale x Thoroughbred). Sisters, Kirsten and Jackie received Beach Session gift vouchers for Christmas and were very excited to bring their horses down to the beach to have their photos taken.

19.01.2022 AUSTRALIAN BRUMBIES Im not sure if you have heard that the Brumbies are in danger of being either trapped and removed from their Australian bush homes or killed. Some will find a domestic home, most will likely go straight to the knackery or be simply shot and left to rot. There will be blood spilled on Aussie soil, the blood of innocent animals. (Link to petition in the comments) While we have been in COVID-19 lockdown I have been thinking about the beautiful brumbies and working on creating water colour images from some of the photographs I took of the Barmah Brumbies late in 2019. I only spent 4 short days with them but they got under my skin. They made an unforgettable impression on me. I hope my artwork does them justice.

18.01.2022 Meet gorgeous newlywed Victoria and her Thoroughbred gelding Sunavarch. Victoria had a post wedding photo session with me recently. Theres often not enough time on the day of the wedding to get photos with horses and pets so its a great idea to schedule a session afterwards. Having the extra time helps everyone stay relaxed and enjoy themselves and its a great excuse to wear your wedding dress again.

15.01.2022 This gorgeous lady is Reggie, she is a Clydesdale x Quarter Horse and she is the apple of her owners eye. Lisa and Reggie joined me for a beach session recently and we were lucky enough to get a few moments of sunshine on an otherwise overcast day.

13.01.2022 Last month Kym and her Thoroughbred Gelding, No Song No Supper joined me for a photography session in some terrible weather conditions. It wasnt too cold but it was windy and lightly rained the whole time. We soldiered on with one very hyped up horse and one brave owner and ended up with some lovely images.

08.01.2022 How are you all doing? What are you looking forward to doing with your horse once we are allowed to move about freely again? Im missing seeing you all at competitions and photographing you and your beautiful horses. Im hoping I will be able to hold beach sessions this summer but at this point who knows. I love getting down to the beach and creating beautiful images.

07.01.2022 When Janelle booked her 2 beautiful horses in for their Beach Sessions Im sure she imagined blue sky and fluffy white clouds over blue water and gently rolling waves. What she got was such a contrast with rain, wind and a whole lot of miserable grey BUT we made it work and we had lots of fun.

04.01.2022 As an Equestrian Photographer I have the opportunity to capture some great action shots of horse and rider as they challenge themselves on competition day but sometimes it doesnt go to plan.

03.01.2022 Parks Victoria recently announced that they plan to eradicate the Barmah Brumbies within the next 4 years. This beautiful mare and her cute little colt will be hunted down and be either trapped or shot. I believe they deserve the respect of the Australian people. They carried our soldiers into battle and they helped to build Australia alongside our forefathers. They pulled carts and dragged ploughs and carried people. 02.01.2022 A spare half an hour saw Paige pulling a hairy and dirty Casino Blitz out of his paddock for a quick pose or two.

01.01.2022 I recently had a delightful visit with Jacquie and her main man Hercules at their home. Hercules is an absolute sweetheart, standing at a generous 17hh this Clydie x gelding was very gentle and calm. I completely understand why Jacquie loves him so much.
