22.01.2022 The National Cabinet Code of Conduct for commercial leases affected by COVID-19 sets out principles landlords and tenants must apply when negotiating temporary ‘proportionate’ amendments to leasing arrangements. Government wants landlords to ‘agree tailored, bespoke and appropriate temporary arrangements’. We are currently assisting a number of clients with rent relief discussions and temporary amendments to lease agreements....
