25.01.2022 Whilst a trip to the @australiasgoldenoutback is arguably the best trip in Australia for wildflowers in springtime here too is also bliss - right here in the Ferguson Valley Hibbertia is seen here as a vista through some parts of the forests. SO PRETTY! Bring your sensible walking shoes and come on down for a few days or even just a day trip.

11.01.2022 This is a little bit of the Ferguson River - named after John Ferguson who discovered this wonderful area. So sparkling clean and fresh Some facts from "Wikipedia":- The river has a total length of 36 kilometres and rises in the Darling Range below Wellington Mill then flows in a north-westerly direction until discharging into the Preston River at Picton near Bunbury. The only tributary of the river is Hough Brook. The river was named after Dr. John Ferguson by the... surveyor H.M. Ommanney. Ferguson owned a property along the river that Ommanney was surveying at the time. The Ferguson Valley is becoming a tourist area in the Shire of Dardanup with several wineries, restaurants, boutique breweries and art galleries to be found amongst the picturesque rolling hills.
