21.01.2022 Hi all, Hope you are coping as best you can under the current stage 4 restrictions. I am missing all of you, as I am sure many of you are also missing my smiling face, and torturous hands We are all awaiting confirmation of a return to work date, so we can get back to clinic. Obviously, we won’t be back next week, but hopefully it will be soon. ... As soon as I receive a start date I will let you know. Clinic conditions may need to change to meet any new DHHS requirements, but as previously we were meeting all requirements and will continue to do so. 19.01.2022 Just a quick update as I've had a few lovely people contact me as to opening dates. Our association has been campaigning hard with DHHS, but it looks like the next stage date of 19th October will be when we can open. That of course depends on covid numbers being met. Because the government is changing their minds day to day I am hesitant to book anyone until dates are concrete. I know of therapists who took bookings for the 26th opening date that have had to rebook everyone..., and I want to avoid that situation. Rest assured I will be in contact to book everyone in as soon as I can. I have temporarily turned off the online booking option on my clinic booking system, so don't panic if you think it's not working. Looking forward to being back at work and seeing everyone. These are trying times for all. I'll be glad when we can move forward. See more

19.01.2022 Due to stage 4 restrictions I have closed my clinic tonight for the next 6 weeks, at least. There is still no concrete ruling from the health department regarding remedial massage but my association has sent out an email which contains the following excerpt, below. It basically means that unless you are part of a community based clinic that works on a referral basis from a gp or specialist, Allied Health professionals are to cease treating patients. This may change after furt...her discussion between the Health department and Allied Health Associations. I will let you all know if this occurs. 02.01.2022 The latest news from our association is not good . We will have to wait a bit longer before we can open our appointment books. Even though we were previously included with Allied health and allowed to treat, as Remedial massage therapist and Myotherapists now we are classed in the 'personal services' category. This is frustrating for all of us, and I know for our patients too. It looks like we will have to wait another couple of weeks before we can offer our much needed trea...tment.
