24.01.2022 Fernleigh Droughtmasters welcome Bryvonlea Titan to our herd as one of our new sires for 2019. Titan was purchased from the 2019 Bunya Bull Sale. In the flesh, Titan is a soft calf who has plenty of skin to grow into, has a tidy underline and moves with ease. His data on paper was impressive and encouraged us to introduce him to our herd. 05.01.2022 Bryvonlea Tarzan is the second introduction to our stud herd this year, also purchased at the 2019 Bunya Bull Sale. Tarzans temperament is second to none and he is a very exciting addition for us at Fernleigh. At only 21 months, Tarzan demonstrates huge growth potential, length and depth. Since getting him home, he is a bull that we have continued to appreciate. Tarzans data showed that he carries his condition evenly with a P8/RIB of 10/10 and he also passed his crush sid...e progressive motility and semen morphology well. Our properties are certainly feeling the effects of the current dry times and despite Tarzan moving location, he has not lost condition. We have enjoyed watching Grande go on to sire some standout progeny including the 2019 Roma Droughtmaster Sale topper, Karragarra Pistol (P) for $18 000 to the Farquhar family, Katrina Station, Rolleston. His daughters demonstrated femininity and poll genetics at the 2018 Entire Drop Sale and included a sale of $7 000 t...o Rob and Carly Johnston of Dawsonvale Stud, Banana. 01.01.2022 The 2019 Glenlands On Property Sale was tremendously successful for Fernleigh Droughtmasters. We secured two sires from this sale who will go into our stud breeding herd. The Quartmaster son, Ace of Spades, is a standout sire and we are proud to introduce he and his genetics into our herd. His mother is Glenlands D 2285, one of the leading Glenland D dams who carries the Fabel ll and Hired Hand genes. Ace took our eye because of his tremendous length, depth, temperament, poll genetics, fertility data, breeding values and sheer beef breeding potential. We look forward to watching Ace mature in our herd and what the years ahead will bring.
